Despite being a potential flight risk and that he is facing up to 75 years in prison, disgraced online gambling payment processor Daniel Tzvetkoff was granted bail on Wednesday in Vegas.

Tzvetkoff was arrested on Friday for alleged money laundering.

FAILED Brisbane internet tycoon Daniel Tzvetkoff is to be released on bail in Las Vegas, with his father putting up his $1.1 million home as surety according to the Australian.

A US Federal Court judge has today agreed to release Mr Tzvetkoff, disagreeing with a government lawyer that the bankrupt Australian was a flight risk.

He may not be released until some time next week as his attorneys fight a separate US detention order.

Judge Peggy Leen agreed that Tzvetkoff's charges did not require detention prior to trial and that no US citizen would serve detention time under such circumstances either. She also agreed that Mr Tzvetkoff should travel by car to proceedings moved to New York, where the trial is to be held.

Online gambling sites have accused Tzvetkoff of stealing millions in funds.
