Austrian online gambling firm, BWIN, has its logo prominently featured in the latest Lady GaGa video for "Poker Face".  The BWIN name is clearly seen on a strip poker table.  But ironically, it is BWIN that has been accused of stripping players limits and, in some cases, monies owed to them.

Here is what one player relayed on the Sports Book Review posting forum:

I'm having a problem with Bwin (I'm not alone as I can see...) I've created an account and deposited there 10€ (received 20€ bonus)

I've made 3 bets and I was with more than 240€!

I was talking with the support because on the registration I may have filled the birthday year wrong (1969 instead of 1961)! They asked me an (unclear) of ID, and I've sended the Driving license after 5 days of continuously emails to know the development they tell me always to wait it was being verified by the department etc etc and they will contact me.

Today I've tried to log in on my Bwin account and have it blocked! No e-mail, no explanation nothing!

I've already sended about 6 e-mails with no response from them!

Complaints related to BWIN have shown up regularly on the SBR forum it seems.

As one website moderator was quick to point out, responding to the complaint: "As you already mentioned above Bwin has been brutal book for many of players."

Despite the complaints mentioned on the SBR forum, BWIN is one of the more established global online gambling firms.

It was not immediately known if BWIN paid to have their logo appear in the Lady GaGa video.  And while MTV may no longer be the place to view music videos, YouTube is!  Over one million people have viewed the "Poker Face" video just two weeks after the song charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Among bwins sponsoring activities, the group is a partner of leading European sports including FC Barcelona and Juventus. Additionally, BWIN sponsors the Italian football club A.C. Milan, and the team members wear the company logo on the team jersey. In June 2007, BWIN became main sponsor of Real Madrid.
