West Kentucky vs. Marshall Point Spread

The West Kentucky vs. Marshall point spread had undefeated Thundering Herd as a -24 home favorite. Be sure to claim your Thanksgiving Weekend FREE CASH bonus at BetPhoenix.ag here.

ESPN reports that the 19th-ranked Thundering Herd finally made an appearance this week in the committee’s playoff rankings. However, they’re one spot behind Boise State, which at this point would be the Group of 5 representative in the New Year’s Six bowl games. That means Marshall still has some work to do, and the Herd don’t need another close call this Friday when Western Kentucky comes to town.  The top-ranked champion from the non-"Power Five" leagues is guaranteed a spot in the Cotton, Fiesta, Orange or Peach bowls.

Not only is Marshall 12-0 Straight Up, they are also 8-3 Against The Spread this season.  The Thundering Herd had won each game by an average of 30.8 points prior to last week when they faced their stiffest challenge against UAB and won by just five points.

"If winning was easy, there would be a lot more people in this position than us and Florida State. At some point, you have to grind them out," coach Doc Holliday said. "We had to grind one out Saturday and that's a tribute to all of these guys."

The Thundering Herd are 5-0 Against The Spread in their last 5 games following a ATS loss.
