It’s only been less than a week since revelations surfaced that England striker Wayne Rooney had cheated on his wife with a £1200 per night vice girl (all while she was pregnant), but bookies like William Hill already believe a divorce is inevitable.

England’s second largest bookmaker slashed its Wayne Rooney divorce odds from 6/4 to even.

“Already on Sunday when this story broke, Gambling911.com had predicted this would be one of the biggest bets of the week,” said Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the news website.

The Rooney story in fact resulted in UK Web traffic surpassing that of the US for the first time in Gambling911.com’s 10 year history this past Sunday.

The London Mirror says this of Rooney’s wife Colleen:

Wronged Wags tend to stand loyally by their partner's pay packet, but Coleen has a career in her own right, admittedly forged entirely on being Mrs Wayne Rooney.

Rooney has reportedly implied Coleen should just deal with his “behaviour”.

But maybe he should take some advise from fellow sex scandal-plagued sports star rat Tiger Woods.

His wife Elin recently divorced the world’s number one golfer and cleaned him out for around $100 million.

This Is Money reports that Rooney is worth an estimated £33m.
