A number of online sportsbooks still had the Dallas Cowboys as a 2-1 favorite to win the NFC East Division immediately following news that starting quarterback Tony Romo will likely be out 6 to 10 weeks.  The vast majority of books had taken this one off the board.  By Sunday morning we only witnessed a one point decline in the odds, most likely due to such a poor division.

An MRI on Friday revealed a broken bone in the 36-year-old's back.

On the third play of Thursday's preseason game at Seattle, Romo took landed awkwardly with the Seahawks linebacker Cliff Avril falling awkwardly on top of him.

Coach Jason Garrett, who announced the injury on a conference call Saturday, said it would not cost Romo the season and he declined to rule out the quarterback for the regular-season opener against the New York Giants on Sept. 11.

"We don't believe that to be the case at all," Garrett said when asked if Romo's season was in jeopardy.

Oddsmakers were still reluctant to post a price on this division but those that have were mostly offering a line of +250 for Dallas and the Giants the new favorite at 2-1.
