Steelers vs. Falcons Point Spread – Fantasy Pick: Matt Ryan

The Steelers vs. Falcons point spread was coming in at Atlanta -3.  It is crazy to think that the Falcons are still very much in the Playoff picture despite their 5-8 record.  And they are not even in the wildcard hunt but rather lead their woeful NFC South division.

The Steelers come into this game with an 8-5 Straight Up record but have only paid out in six games this season.  Atlanta has also paid out in six games.  Their Against The Spread record is better than their record Straight Up.  More than 65% of those betting this game are backing Pittsburgh.  These two teams have not met since 2010.

The Steelers are 5-12 Against The Spread in their last 17 games following a Straight Up win of more than 14 points and 5-20-1 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.  They are also 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The Falcons are actually 5-0 Against The Spread in their last 5 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game.

On the Fantasy front, Atlanta QB Matt Ryan does have significant value at $6600.  Expect a high scoring game here (the total is 55.5).  Ryan will play a key roll in running that total up.  Ryan completed 7 of 11 passes for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns against the blitz on Monday night.  He also has 19 fantasy points per game at home this season.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
