There are a lot of Green Bay fans who could accept a 2-14 season provided those two wins came in Weeks 4 and 8. Green Bay fans can't quite let Brett Favre go, and still love Favre for returning glory to the green and gold in the 1990s. But the reality of watching Favre put the Packers to the sword in the purple of Minnesota might break that tie at last.

The cheeseheads could ease their pain by putting some cash down on Minnesota at -3.5 with Sports Interaction in that game. The reality is that the Vikings are a superior team to the Packers in many ways. Favre's pass to win the game against San Francisco couldn't have come at a better time - the Packers can't dare jamming the box to hold Adrian Peterson because the know Favre can burn them deep, and that would be too much to bear. Therefore, Peterson will grind out the yards and the Vikings will grind out the win.

The Packers offense can spark but you can't rely on it, they struggle with the run and they have trouble protecting Aaron Rodgers. Vikings -3.5 with Sports Interaction is the pick.

Everybody is waiting for Denver to blow up. I think they might have to wait another week. Dallas travels to Denver as a road favorite but the Cowboys have been anything but convincing in their three games so far. Denver has beaten cupcakes, certainly, but you can only ever dance with the girls in the hall, after all.

The Denver defense has been great, and the offense well balanced and effective. The Broncos aren't going to beat themselves and, trite as that sounds, that is half the battle. Dallas also has questions over the fitness of running back Felix Jones, and it's just hard to have faith in them. A home underdog is always a tempter and I'm going with the Broncos +3 with Sports Interaction on this one.

Two undefeated teams meet when the Jets visit the Saints in the Superdome. The Jets have been performing above expectations so far but a major disappointment could be in store for them in Louisiana. New Orleans is showing so many options on offense it's kind of frightening, and comparisons to St Louis in the Rams' Greatest Show on Turf era seem pretty apt right now.

I was surprised to see the Saints as favored as they are, but I still think they can cover - not least as the much improved Saints defense may finally put pressure on Mark Sanchez, the Jets' rookie quarterback. New Orleans -7 with Sports Interaction is the final pick of the week.
