NFL Week 1 Picks From Sports Radio Personality, Sports Handicapper Fred Wallin

Football season is back, and it's time to cash in with some great 2012 Week 1 NFL picks from the master!

Gambling911.com’s new staff sports handicapper, Fred Wallin, is entering his first season handicapping football for us, and if he does as well this season as he has in capping seasons past, get ready to fatten your bankbook!  Get Fred Wallin picks here

Wallin, a Los Angeles sportscaster for the past 30 years, is an expert on all the major sports but especially football, both college and pro.

His uncanny knack for predicting winners--not just of the game but more importantly, against the pointspread--has made him and his colleagues tons of money over the years.

Now for the first time he'll be sharing his selections on NCAA and NFL football with Gambling911.com  readers--for a small fee of course, after all, Fred IS a capitalist.

So how does Wallin see the upcoming NFL season, which kicked off Thursday night?

"None of the teams in the NFL this season will be at the same level they were last year," Wallin says. "Every team either got better or got worse. Nobody stayed the same.

"But who got better and who got worse? That's the question. No one knows for sure. That makes betting the first few weeks of the NFL difficult for some. But it's not, really.

"In many ways, betting the first few weeks of the NFL season is actually easier than the rest of the season. And that's because all or most of the lines are off the first few weeks, because nobody knows what's what yet. And if you realize this, and you can predict which teams have improved and which teams have declined since last season, you can capitalize."

So who does Wallin like--against the number that is--in this coming opening weekend in the NFL?

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
