NFL Betting Odds, Fantasy Outlooks: Browns-Jaguars, Chiefs-Chargers

NFL betting odds for the Browns-Jaguars game were set at -6 Cleveland while the Chiefs-Chargers game had the red hot Chargers as a -3.5 home favorite.  All betting odds courtesy of AceSportsbook.com, which features top cash bonus offers at as little as a 1x rollover.

The Browns come into this game looking to go 4-2 for the first time in recent memory (and by “recent” we mean since 2001).  Jacksonville, which is winless, offers up the perfect opportunity.  That said, these Jaguars beat Cleveland on the road last year (one of only two games they won).

This is a different Browns team than the one that got beaten last season, however.  Last week, Cleveland opened eyes with a big 31-10 win vs. Pittsburgh.

Browns starting quarterback Brian Hoyer ranks eighth in the NFL in passer rating (99.5) and fourth in yards per attempt (8.22).

Needless-to-say, he’s fast becoming a fantasy stud, topping 200 yards with at least one score in every game this season.  The Jaguars pass defense has a 12-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

In addition to Hoyer, running back Ben Tate is also lighting things up in Cleveland. He has 47 carries over the last two weeks (totaling 202 yards and two TDs).

For those looking to bet on the Chiefs-Chargers game, it should be noted that San Diego has dominated over the past two seasons but not by much last year.  Both of the Chargers wins were by field goals.

Chargers starting quarterback Philip Rivers should be a fantasy juggernaut against the Chiefs.  He has racked up 10 TDs and 9.1 yards per pass attempt in his last four meetings against Kansas City.
