New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins Odds

New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins odds heading into Sunday morning were listed at Saints -6 as the away favorite.  Many of the online bookmakers catering to professionals such as Bookmaker.com were listing this game at -6.  Bookmaker.com also takes on recreational players, perhaps someone like your self looking to bet $10 on this game

The New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins odds have hovered between -6 ½ and -7 most of the week and heading into Sunday morning.  The majority of recreational shops were offering a line of -6 ½.  The line on this game opened at -6.

Is it possible for Miami to actually pull off the upset in this late afternoon game, which was already getting the second heaviest volume for the Week 7 card?

From NFL.com:

Miami's best chance to pull off the upset might be to continue with the Wildcat and pound the ball with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown in an attempt to control the time of possession. The formula almost worked against Peyton Manning and any strategy to keep Drew Brees off the field as much as possible is sound.

From Scout.com:

New Orleans Reggie Bush can keep a defensive coordinator up at night because of his versatility, but on tape he seems to be more of a matchup nightmare against teams that like to run the 3-4 defense. Miami outside linebackers Jason Taylor and Joey Porter are up-the-field pass rushers so look for the Saints get Bush matched up on them out in space.

New Orleans offensive line is overlooked: This has to be the most underrated unit in the NFL. They are coming off a dominant performance last week against the New York Giants. In particular, LT Jermon Bushrod dominated Giants DE Osi Umenyiora. But, this week, he will have his hands full as he will see two excellent pass rushers again in Taylor and Porter. Look for Miami overload multiple rushers to Bushrod's side to confuse the young and inexperienced OT.

Miami is 2-0 against New Orleans so far this decade but the last game was played in 2005.

The Saints are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.

The Saints are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

The Saints are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0.

The Dolphins are 12-26-1 ATS in their last 39 games following a ATS win.

The Dolphins are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog.

More than 90 percent of the spread betting volume was going towards the Saints.  Bet this one at Bookmaker.com and claim your FREE CASH BONUS here.
