New Orleans Saints vs. Buffalo Bills odds were listed at -6 across the board including at Hollywood Sports book, Gambling911.com's news sponsor but a book that's been around now for 10 years.  The one lone holdout for Buffalo Bills fans was Sports Interaction, with a line of +6 ½.

These two teams have only met twice this decade with New Orleans blowing Buffalo out of the water both times when the Saints really weren't all that good, though we should note New Orleans was a slight favorite on both occasions.

The Saints are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite.

They are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

One negative stat New Orleans is up against is that they are 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 games following a S.U. win.

The Bills, however, are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win.

Buffalo is 2-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

New Orleans has looked virtually unstoppable in a pair of dominating victories. Following a 45-27 home win over Detroit in the season opener, tSaints blew out the Eagles 48-22 in Philadelphia last Sunday.

Drew Brees, The Pro Bowl quarterback for New Orleans, has nine touchdown passes already this season and has looked nearly unstoppable through the first two weeks. He is using a variety of targets (he has completed passes to 10 different receivers) and now he gets to face a Buffalo team that ranks 31st against the pass.

Brees has totaled 669 yards passing and nine touchdowns in the wins, completing 75 percent of his passes and easily leading the league with a 132.9 passer rating. He needs just one touchdown pass against Buffalo to match the NFL record for the most in the first three games of a season.

I'm having fun, but it's only two games," said Brees, who threw four touchdowns against Buffalo in 2005 while with San Diego. "It only gets tougher. The more you win, the more success you have, the more you have to battle. ... You kind of have to make sure you stay humble and stay hungry."

Should New Orleans (2-0) score 45 points, it would be the fourth team in the NFL to do so in three straight game, and, to give some perspective, the last team to do so was the 16-0 regular season New England Patriots in 2007.  They ultimately went on to lose the Super Bowl that season.

The Saints face a decent opponent in the Buffalo Bills, who nearly stole a game from New England during Week 1 and beat Tampa Bay on the road last week.

Terrell Owens had a 43-yard scoring grab from Trent Edwards five minutes into the fourth quarter to help cap a 33-20 victory over Tampa Bay.

Edwards, who threw two touchdowns for the second straight game, liked what he saw in Owens' home debut.

"I was excited and he was excited," he said. "I don't really recall what was said, but I'm honestly hoping that that continues to happen. I think that's why we have him."

Edwards ranks fifth in the NFL with a 104.9 passer rating, orchestrating an offense that had struggled mightily in the preseason and seemed in turmoil after coordinator Turk Schonert was fired barely a week before the Bills' opener.

The ESPN.com Intel Report suggests the following:

The Bills have talented DBs and the pass defense is better than their current ranking of 2nd worst in the league defending the pass. They have allowed 664 passing yards this season, but they do have 3 INTs. You cannot expect to beat the Saints in an aerial shootout. The Bills needs to pick off Drew Brees at least twice while RB Fred Jackson controls time of possession with 75+ rushing yards.

Nearly 90 percent of those betting this game were siding with New Orleans.  60 percent were wagering on the Bills money line to win outright and pay nearly $250 for every $100 bet.

We at Gambling911.com LOVE New Orleans to cover by at least a touchdown here!!!!
