New England Patriots Odds to Win 2015 Super Bowl: Season Win Total Odds at 10.5?

Make no mistake about it, the New England Patriots remain a serious contender to win the 2015 Super Bowl with odds of 9/1.  Only Denver, Seattle and San Francisco have shorter odds of winning the championship.

The Patriots may have just gotten better with the additions of cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner, the later of whom will be serving a 4-game suspension at the start of the season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.  Revis, in particular, should make an immediate impact on this already solid franchise.

They will need to find someone to step up for LeGarrette Blount on offense.  Starting quarterback Tom Brady has plenty of weapons to win games regardless.

Should Brady, 37, become injured, the Pats have brought on a solid quarterback in East Illinois product Jimmy Garoppolo.  They also have current backup Ryan Mallett.  Obviously though, one would expect the Patriots to slip a bit this season if Brady were to suffer any serious injuries.  They are just a little bit better prepared now that age is becoming a factor and Garoppolo could ultimately prove to be Brady’s heir apparent.

Also anticipate a much better pass rush this season.

The Patriots schedule is 10th toughest in the league though with one important caveat: they are only playing in one game against an opponent that has shorter odds to win the 2015 Super Bowl (Denver at home on November 2).

In theory the Pats should be able to beat their division rivals on the road (that doesn’t always work out to be the case, however) and will likely be the favorite in Kansas City on September 29.  A game in Green Bay will probably have New England listed as the underdog.

The OVER 10.5 regular season wins is pricey at -210 but laying $21 to win $10 or $210 to win $100 (The $200 is returned should the future bet turn out to be a winner), there is definitely some value.  Quite frankly, we here at Gambling911.com believe New England has a shot at winning no less than 13 games barring a complete disaster.

Consider this factoid: In the Brady era, the Patriots have only failed to win more than 10 regular season games twice over an eleven year period, one of those being a season where Brady hardly touched the football due to an early injury and both of those seasons were 10 wins.
