Juventus v Parma betting odds for this Serie A game had Juventus a 4/9 favorite, Parma at 7/1 odds while the draw came in at 3/1.

While Juventus have never lost at home on the opening day of the season, Parma have managed to win their last three Serie A games against Juve.  And the last time Parma lost their opening game of a Serie A campaign was way back in 1992.

50 percent of the betting action on this game was going towards the draw while around 33 percent of punters were backing Juventus.

There is good reason for the heavy betting on the draw.  Parma had 11 consecutive draws its first game of the season up until last year when they managed to beat Brescia.

Juventus have only lost six of their opening games in a Serie A matchup while never losing at home on opening day.
