Johnny Manziel Fantasy Value Week 15 – Bengals vs. Browns Line at Cleveland -1

Johnny Manziel will make his first start for Cleveland this week and his Fantasy value is pretty good. The line on the Bengals-Browns game is -1.

So will Manziel live up to all the hype and potentially help steer Cleveland into the Playoffs?

The Browns margin of error is essentially zero as they’ll need to knock off Cincinnati Sunday and follow that up with wins over Carolina and Baltimore.  That’s not an impossible task as Cleveland has won three of four in this series, even when they’ve been subpar.  Back in November, they dismantled Cincinnati on the road.

There is good reason to believe Manziel and the Browns will be on fire Sunday.  In limited action versus Buffalo, Manziel enjoyed a 80-yard scoring drive against what is perhaps the league's best front four and versus Cincinnati Manziel faces a team that let Blake Bortles throw for 247 yards and two scores this year.

In the end, it’s all about value and Manziel definitely has value.

From DailyFantasySportsRankings.com:

The little dude is priced at $5.9K meaning he needs 17.7 points for 3.0 value. Ask Russell Wilson how important QB rushing yards are assuming DK settings. If he gets 50 yards rushing which seems very likely, throws for a measly 175 yards and adds one score, then he’s at 16 points. If that one score is a rushing touchdown, he’s at 18 points. If he outperforms any of those very reasonable stat line goals then he’s tipping 20. Let us not forget he has Josh Gordon and a healthy Jordan Cameron as well as a satisfactory run game in West and Crowell to balance the field.
