Jets Giants Super Bowl 2010

Online sports betting website Sportsbook.com has announced intentions to offer odds on a Jets/Giants Super Bowl in 2010, according to Gambling911.com Senior Reporter, Carrie Stroup.

"The early odds will likely be very long," she expressed.  "Some homework needs to be done by the Sportsbook.com oddsmakers in order to avoid being crushed if the Jets and Giants do ultimately face off with one another."

Crushed because everyone and their mother and grandmother within a 100 mile radius of the Big Apple and Meadowlands will be placing this bet once it's posted, which could happen as early as Monday.

Some talk about a Jets/Giants Super Bowl has already begun in the New York City and New Jersey region even with the season just starting.  The Jets were widely considered non-contenders entering this season.

Both New York teams are 2-0.  The Jets are the biggest surprise of the young 2009 season with wins on the road against Houston and at home Sunday against the mighty New England Patriots.

The Jets stopped two Patriots drives in the final five minutes of the game to improve to 2-0 for the first time since 2004 on Sunday.

The only touchdown in the game was a nine-yard pass from Mark Sanchez to Dustin Keller in the third quarter.

The Jets snapped the Patriots' nine-game win streak at the Meadowlands (eight at Jets, one at Giants) and won for just the third time in the teams' last 14 meetings including playoffs.

It was the first time New England was held without a touchdown since Dec. 10, 2006.

The Giants, meanwhile, have beaten two division rivals.  They also crashed the party in Dallas with the debut of the Cowboys spanking new state-of-the-art stadium by winning in the final seconds.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
