Jets Giants 2010 Super Bowl Odds Pay 40/1

As Gambling911.com first reported this weekend, it's never too early to start dreaming of a Jets/Giants 2010 Super Bowl now that both New York teams are 2-0.  And the earlier the better for those looking to cash in on the best value and lock in what are currently 40/1 odds.

Sportsbook.com released these odds on Tuesday.

Gambling911.com Senior Reporter, Carrie Stroup, first broke the news over the weekend following the Jets big win.  The Giants had not yet won their game against Dallas Sunday night.

"The early odds will likely be very long," she correctly predicted.  "Some homework needs to be done by the Sportsbook.com oddsmakers in order to avoid being crushed if the Jets and Giants do ultimately face off with one another."

Nevertheless, at 40/1 odds, the payout would be extraordinary:  $4000 for every $100 bet.

Stroup had yet another observation.

"Heading into the 2009 season, oddsmakers probably would not have hesitated to offer this one at 100/1 odds," she quipped.

But the Jets crashed Houston's party at home during Week 1 then beat the team heavily favored to win the Super Bowl, New England.  The New York Giants were and remain a favorite to win the 2010 Super Bowl.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
