Indianapolis Colts 2012 Regular Season Win Totals Odds

The Indianapolis Colts 2012 regular season win total odds were coming in at OVER/UNDER 5 with oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com believing first round starting quarterback Andrew Luck will carry this team to at least 6 wins with a line of -130.  The UNDER 5 pays slightly better than EVEN odds.

The Colts will face nine teams that played .500 football or under last season.  One of those teams, Chicago, they meet on the road and this Bears team should be much improved.

Home games that can be won on paper include Minnesota, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Miami, Buffalo and, quite possibly Tennessee.  Whether that happens or not we’ll just have to wait and see.  This is not a team we suspect many people will be wagering on in 2012, at least when it comes to futures.

Indianapolis Colts 2012 Schedule:

Luck has enough talented targets, and the play-calling should protect him while the line and run game shake out. The team’s 99.6 yards rushing per game ranked 26th, but the Colts trailed most of the time. They managed 4.2 yards per carry, which would be enough to help Luck. Manning went 3–13 as a rookie with proven stars like wide receiver Marvin Harrison and running back Marshall Faulk. Luck will find a way to win a few, then the Colts will tinker again and take the next step toward building a playoff contender in 2013.
