Fred Jackson Release From The Bills Does Little to Affect Week 1 Line vs. Colts

The Buffalo Bills released the league’s oldest running back, Fred Jackson, on Monday in what many were calling a bit of a shock despite discussions to do so over the past six months.

The Bills line was still +3 against the Colts in Week 1 even though they are left with a riddled backfield marred with injuries.

LeSean McCoy (hamstring) remained out of practice Thursday.  Bryce Brown (hamstring) and Bobbie Dixon (calf) returned to practice Thursday but were unable to play in Saturday’s preseason game.  Rookie running back Karlos Williams has also been out.

Can you say Colts -3 and a blowout for Week 1?
