Cleveland Browns Odds to Win 2014 AFC North

The Cleveland Browns odds to win the 2014 AFC North were set at 7/1.

New head coach and the “Johnny Manziel Experiment” may mean there is reason for excitement in Cleveland this season.  Whether they can win anything in the futures department remains to be seen.

The good news for Browns fans is that oddsmakers have Cleveland heavily favored at -150 to win 7 or more regular season games.

The defense is expected to carry this team but how far can they take it?

From SI.com:

With the worst receiving corps in the NFL and perplexing quarterback play on the horizon, the Browns offense has little to no chance in 2014. The defense can be good, maybe even great, but it can’t carry all the weight.

Still, the defense might not have all the answers, as Tom Reed of Cleveland.com writes:

No position grouping on defense is more worrying than the linebackers. They lack the depth and continuity of the line and the Pro Bowlers of the secondary. The unit no doubt possesses potential and free-agent acquisition Karlos Dansby was among the NFL's best defenders last season. But the Browns enter camp with more questions than answers.
