Chargers-Chiefs Line Between -1 and -2.5 Presents Middling Opportunity

After a few books moved the line all the way to San Diego -1, most books did have the Chargers-Chiefs line back at -2.5 favoring Kansas City Sunday morning.  This is the same number where the game opened at most books.

A Chiefs win of 2 points would result in a windfall for any bettors looking to wager both sides at two different online sportsbooks.

This is interesting since 75% of the action was coming in on San Diego.

For us here at Gambling911.com we’ve sat back and decided not to pull the trigger on Kansas City covering following such an aggressive move to get more money on the Chiefs earlier in the week.  We do believe the books should fare well should KC win and cover here.

The fluid line movement was the result of news that Alex Smith would be sitting out this game for KC.  Chase Daniel will start in his place.  He is considered a good fit for Andy Reid’s offensive scheme.  During the preseason he went 15-of-21 passing.

San Diego starting quarterback Philip Rivers has enjoyed great success against the Chiefs.  He has nine wins, 278.8 passing yards per game, 8.5 yards per pass attempt, 23 TDs and 10 INTs.
