California vs. Stanford College Football Odds opened at Stanford -6 ½.  The line has since moved up to -7 ½ at BetUS.com.  Some books were pushing this up to -8.  85 percent of those betting on this game were backing Stanford.  The Cardinal were the most bet on team in College Football this week.

California is 6-4 in the series but Stanford won their last home game versus California two years ago.

The Pac-10 continues to be one of the wackiest conferences in the country for football handicappers.

Mike Rose of BetUS.com writes of Stanford, referencing last week's big win against USC:  "In a radio interview the night before Stanford took on USC, HC Jim Harbaugh quoted WWE Hall of Fame Ric Flair by saying, "In order to be the man, you've got to beat the man." No one said anything about beating the snot out of the man! The Cardinal took out the Trojans with an incredibly impressive 55-21 victory at the Coliseum. Now, the Pac-10 title is within reach with some help."

Scout.com made its prediction on this game - Stanford by 10 points.

Look for Vereen to pick up against Stanford where he left off last week versus Arizona. The shifty sophomore will give Stanford's pedestrian defense some problems and it could lead to some big plays in the passing attack off play-action. However, the Cardinal offense simply has better run-pass balance and Luck will make fewer mistakes than Riley. Expect Stanford to improve its winning streak to four with another impressive offensive outing.

Some important California vs. Stanford College Football odds to consider before betting on this game:

The Golden Bears are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 road games.

Stanford is 11-0 ATS in their last 11 home games.

The Cardinal are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite.

Stanford is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 conference games.
