The folks at Sports Interaction believe that the Buffalo Bills will not win more than 8 regular season games in 2009 despite the addition of Terrell Owens.

They have instilled the Bills as a -139 favorite to win UNDER 8 games.  Those bettors wanting the OVER will get paid even odds if Buffalo does manage to win more than 8 2009 regular season games.

Quarterback Trent Edwards has the talent to succeed but he hasn't always been surrounded by the same.  This year will be different and Edwards will need to work on his consistency.

The offensive line is the weak link in Buffalo.  Only two players will return this season.  Among the changes include replacing two once highly touted veterans with two highly drafted rookies.

The defensive line is yet another weak link.  Expect the Bills defense over all to be aggressive nonetheless as coordinator Perry Fewell continues to employ the heavy pass rush.

The Bills are certainly a Playoff-caliber team

"I think there are some pretty high expectations in that locker room," second-year quarterback Trent Edwards said. "There are a lot of confident players in there that had a lot to gain off of last season's success that we had, and we're headed in the right direction."

Unfortunately they are in one of the toughest divisions that includes the likes of the heavily favored Super Bowl winners, New England Patriots.

With Owens in the mix we can certainly see Buffalo going over their usual 7 win comfort zone. Every time he's found a new home Owens excelled in his first year.

This is helped by the fact that the Bills kick off the season with a fairly "soft" schedule that includes five of the first six games against teams that failed to make the Playoffs in '08.
