Buffalo Bills Odds to Win 2016 Super Bowl and 2015 AFC East

The Buffalo Bills odds of winning the 2016 Super Bowl were coming in at 35-1 and the AFC East at 4/1.

There is excitement in Buffalo with the arrival of Rex Ryan as head coach and running back LeSean McCoy.  The Bills already have one of the best defenses and now there are improvements on offense.  Buffalo also has the opportunity to take advantage of New England potentially being without Tom Brady for the first four games.

Positives: Rex Ryan and LeSean McCoy.  There’s been no bigger coaching hire in Buffalo since Chuck Knox in the late 1970s.  The division is also a bit more vulnerable with Brady’s likely suspension to be upheld for four games.

Negatives: You’re still in a division with the reigning Super Bowl champion Patriots.  Four games without Brady won’t be enough to knock the Pats off their pedestal.  These Bills are going to have to be really good.  The Patriots will still be really good.

Final Analysis:  Buffalo won’t necessarily have to win the division to secure a wildcard spot.  Last year they had nine wins and ten could get them into the post season.  4-1 odds to win the division provides only limited value.  Winning OVER 8.5 regular season games at -135 features the best value of any future wager on the Bills we believe.
