Broncos vs. Texans Betting Line: No Wes Welker, No Problem

Even without Wes Welker playing for Denver Sunder, the Broncos vs. Texans betting line had the visiting team as a -10 favorite.  Gambling911.com’s own Carrie Stroup is reporting that the Broncos are the most popular NFL bet this week seeing 79 percent of the action at Sportsbook.com.

Welker, one of Denver’s top players, is expected to be out until the Playoffs as he recovers from two concussions in a span of three weeks.

The Broncos (11-3) can earn a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs should they beat both Texans and Raiders.

Other scenarios that allow for Denver to have this same advantage include a win Sunday plus losses by the Chiefs and Patriots.

As a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points, Denver is an impressive 13-4 Against The Spread over the past three seasons (6-3 ATS this season).  They failed to cover their only game this season as a road favorite within this range.

The Broncos are 5-0 Against The Spread in their last 5 games following a Straight Up loss while Houston is just 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games overall.

The Texans did manage to beat Denver on the road early last season.

Bet on Rome Odunze Draft Position

Rome Odunze is favored to be selected under 8.5 in this week's NFL Draft, but not by a whole lot.  The price was coming in at -150 on the under and +120 on the over.
