Arizona Cardinals Odds to Win 2016 Super Bowl, NFC West

The Arizona Cardinals odds to win the 2016 Super Bowl and the 2015 NFC West were at 35-1 and 5-1, respectively.

Last year’s Cardinals team played fantastic considering the toughness of their division and the amount of injuries that accumulated during the season.  This is a team that finished 11-5.  Just imagine what a healthy Cardinals team can accomplish.  Starting quarterback Carson Palmer will be back and hopefully healthy.

Arizona suffered a significant loss during the offseason with defensive coordinator Todd Bowles leaving to become the head coach of the New York Jets.  Bowles blitzing schemes were widely credited with the Cardinals ability to overcome last year’s obstacles but so too is the GM/Coaching tandem of GM Steve Keim and coach Bruce Arians, considered one of the best in the league, if not the best.

Larry Fitzgerald and wide receiver John Brown should click on all cylinders with Palmer at the helm.

Arizona did lose more than just Bowles on defense.  A number of top defensive players will not be returning in 2015.

Defensive end Darnell Dockett left for San Francisco, though he did not play last season.  Nose tackle Dan Williams joined the Oakland Raiders. Inside linebacker Larry Foote retired.  It's not a crippling situation but this certainly doesn't benefit the Cardinals either.  They also lack a decent pass rusher.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
