Holland Odds to Win the 2014 World Cup Following Spain Shellacking

The Netherlands now had odds of 10-1 following their rampage against the mighty Spaniards.

Make no mistake about it - this was an utter shellacking, a 5-1 victory.

While Holland was expected to be a strong team, Spain was pegged to win the World Cup again this year.

Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben both scored twice and defender Stefan de Vrij grabbed his first international goal in a humiliating defeat.

Spain has not suffered a defeat this bad in a World Cup since 1960 when Brazil beat them 6-1.

Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque left the game in a somber mood.

"This is a very delicate moment for us, and all of us have to find a way to solve it," Del Bosque said.
