With rumors swirling about American Idol feisty judge Simon Cowell possibly leaving the show, the most established North American online oddsmaker, Bookmaker.com, has wasted little time in posting odds on who Simon Cowell's replacement might be.  Bookmaker.com even found themselves plastered on Page 6 of the New York Post.

Who will replace Simon Cowell on "American Idol"?

Piers Morgan is the favorite at odds of 2-1 (bet $1, win $2), followed by Sean "Diddy" Combs at 3-1, Quincy Jones at 3½-1, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds at 4-1, Simon Fuller at 6-1, Rob Stevenson at 6-1 and Russell Simmons at 6½-1. "Just bring back Paula (Abdul)!" Gambling911.com's Payton O'Brien declared.

Abdul left the show after 10 seasons and Cowell has admitted he is not happy about her departure and the direction in which the show is going.  Cowell also wants to bring his own hugely popular talent show to the States, The X Factor.

Bookmaker.com, long one of the leading American Idol odds providers for the Gambling911.com website, has received substantial exposure for its Simon Cowell exit odds.  Known for taking plenty of "professional" sports bets, Bookmaker.com faced much ridicule from their peers for publishing odds on American Idol in the beginning, but soon most of the competition followed.
