Miss Canada Odds to Win 2008 Miss Universe Pageant Better Than Once Thought

Oh Canada! Miss Canada Samantha Tajik and her odds to win the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant have been slashed practically in half heading into Sunday morning. Miss Canada had been slashed from +4500 odds to +3000 odds heading into Sunday. The payout would be a sweet $3000 for every $100 bet at Bookmaker.com.

"A lot of Canadians read Gambling911.com and will be betting on the Miss Universe Pageant so it shouldn't be any big surprise that their representative has had her odds shortened," explains Gambling911.com Operations Manager, Payton O'Brien.

And she doesn't look half bad either.

"I enjoy traveling, skating, keeping active, spending time with my puppies and dancing, but above all else, I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others," the very diplomatic contestant stated. "When I go to bed at the end of a day and can say that I have helped at least one person, than I've had a good day!"

The 2008 Miss Universe Pageant is expected to be the most bet on event of the summer.
