Hugh Grant

Gawker is reporting that – of all people – Hugh Grant almost replaced everybody's favorite train wreck winner Charlie Sheen on CBS’ number one rated comedy, Two and a Half Men.

Haha, whoa, this is a totally crazy thing. You know how they were looking for a big star to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, because Charlie Sheen finally fully metamorphosed into a full drug-demon? Well it turns out they were like thisclose to signing Hugh Grant for the role. They were going to give him a million bucks an episode, but he pulled out at the last minute because of "creative differences." That's nuts! Well dodged, Grant. Though, I suppose, quality or not, a million dollars a week is a million fucking dollars a week. You know what I would do for a million dollars a week? I'd probably kill at least a few of you. I'm just putting it out there. Not trying to make you scared, this is just a hypothetical. But if that were offered, a few of you, and I'm not going to say who, would probably be killed, by me. Just saying. That's a lot of money.

Bookmaker.com did not offer odds on Hugh Grant replacing Charlie Sheen.  They had a bunch of odds, which are no longer available, including John Stamos and Rob Lowe, both at even odds.  Our own Jenny Woo recently broke down the odds on Charlie Sheen’s potential replacement (see video here)

Sheen’s character ultimately disappearing was actually a bigger favorite than any of the above.
