It looked like yet another Web traffic record breaker for Gambling911.com with both Dancing With The Stars results news and the thousands of people coming in to search for American Idol betting odds.

"The number one landing page was an early April update of American Idol betting odds," disclosed Gambling911.com Senior Editor, Payton O'Brien.  "BetUS.com was the beneficiary of this traffic."

And the amount of search traffic just goes to show how betting on American Idol continues to be a huge draw, especially the finale show.  Dancing With The Stars results news helped fuel traffic numbers further.

After a record 100 million votes were cast, it was Kris Allen who won this season's American Idol.

"It feels good, man, but Adam deserves this," the Conway, Ark., native protested. "I don't know what to feel right now, this is crazy."

Adam Lambert had been a favorite throughout much of the season though he never made it above -350 odds at BetUS.com

Kris Allen was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas and raised in Conway, Arkansas.  Allen is a devout Christian. He was a worship leader at New Life Church in Maumelle, Arkansas, as well as at the Chi Alpha campus ministry of the University of Central Arkansas, where he was a business major.  He has done missionary work around the world, including in Burma, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Spain and Thailand.
