I think Mc Cain chose her simply because 1) She is a woman 2) she is younger 3) supposedly against corporate interest. In a way, trying to get some sort of Hillary Placebo, but younger, to make it look like it's new blood, fresh and original. Obama is young and black, he'd be the first ever black president of the US. Mc Cain is just an old, grumpy and unpredictable sod. I mean come on, the guy is 72 for christ's sake! Are you going to vote for this?? This is is not politics, it's marketing. 'Oh you are black and younger? You have a much older vp with experience? Well I am an old git but I have experience...since I am so old, I need some sensation in my team: how about a much younger VP (as old as Obama, coincidence we will say?) and a woman...so we have the first woman ever to take the post, much younger..too'. I hope Obama wipes out all these horrible hardcore republicans, who have done nothing more than harming the US all over the world, and in their own country as well! America is not 'feared' or 'respected' any more. It's just ridiculed all over the world, and hated in countries where it was so popular before. Bring on Obama, this guy will be a fantastic president. People always talk about his 'non experience'. Well, I personally think he is bright and very talented. Look at Bush...was he...bright and experienced? We've seen the end result if he was, or even if he wasn't!
