I campaigned for Ron Paul, I was one of his district coordinators. I think Ron Is awesome, but I am backing Sarah Palin in 2012. Sarah is NO neocon. First, before she wrote her book, her and her husband made only about 145,000 a year in Alaska. Thats nothing when it comes to living in Alaska. She is basically one of us, from average means. She started on city council and moved up - NeoCons do not move up, they run for office from the top down. They are machine. McCain is a NeoCon, picking Palin was a fluke and probably a mistake on McCains part as he wanted Lieberman and then ran test runs with Lieberman at events and it was a huge flop. Picking Palin was a Hail Mary for McCain, he had no chance without her and he gave it ahot. It was like the odd couple of Politics - McCain the uber Liberal with Palin the uber conservative (and might I say fairly libertarian minded) Now for all you Libertarians out there I am not in anyway saying she is a Libby, I am just saying she has Libertarian leanings more than any other mainstream Republican (excluding Ron Paul) . Here is what I like about Palin: She speaks her mind She is not afraid to be a leader (for instance being the first to back the Conservative congressional candidate in NY) Not AFRAID to throw out the party line ( see above) likes GUNS Is ProLife Is against the Real ID Is for weakening the Fed, and agrees with the Fed Audit. Is for stopping illegal immigration I think because she is an average American, she can relate to everyone and it shows. We need an average american who pays a mortgage, does NOT have a maid, etc. The more I see Palin and listen to her, the more I like her. There is only one possible candidate the socialist liberals fear, and thats Palin because she connects with the average joe. I would consider Sarah Palin a PaleoConservative, not a NeoCon. Kind of A Ross Perot meets Ron Paul meets Pat Buchanan but not nearly as scary as the rest of them were to average Republicans. Palin is probably the best chance we are going to see in our lifetime of someone that actually would follow the Constitution and bring the country back to that form of goverment. She is the anti-Obama.
