She did not get permission from ANYONE to fly

It is written here, "It is unclear if the airline made an exception for Governor Palin." NO, by her own admission she neither told the airline she was pregnant (or that her amniotic fluid was leaking therefor) "Sarah said that while she did not tell the pilot or flight attendants that she was 36 weeks along, she did not hide her condition either" From an interview with her found here http://www.celebrity-babies.com/2008/04/alaskan-governo.html According to an article from April 22 in Alaska Daily News "Palin's Child Diagnosed With Down Syndrome" http://www.adn.com/626/story/382864.html her doctor was interviewed and stated she did not ask for permission to fly. "Palin said she felt fine but had leaked amniotic fluid and also felt some contractions that seemed different from the false labor she had been having for months. "I said I am going to stay for the day. I have a speech I was determined to give," Palin said. She gave the luncheon keynote address for the energy conference. Palin kept in close contact with Baldwin-Johnson. The contractions slowed to one or two an hour, "which is not active labor," the doctor said. "Things were already settling down when she talked to me," Baldwin-Johnson said. Palin did not ask for a medical OK to fly, the doctor said." Reports state she flew Alaska Airlines home. I called Alaska Airlines who told me that out of DFW their sister airline, American Airlines has ONE flight to Anchorage per day, that is at 3:45 arriving 7:40 in the evening which coincides with what Sarah states herself as her arrival time. The American Airlines person on the phone told me the duration of the flight is 6hr 55 minutes. American Airlines REQUIRES a physician's approval for flying at eight months. In another article she stated, "I didn't tell the airlines I was pregnant, nor did I try to hide it" What is this sort of behavior everyone? The labor was INDUCED and and she gave birth at 6:30 in the morning the next day, Friday, THEN she returned to work on Monday and supposedly took the infant WITH her. A one month premature Down Syndrome child. Does anyone here know that pediatricians tell new mothers not to take their infants out around other people for ten days and CERTAINLY not a premature infant. This is just the absolute most CRAZY and irresponsible behavior I have ever heard of and NOTE, pro-life I would THINK involves protecting your child (fetus and post partum) in every way possible. She gave by her OWN words the "luncheon keynote speech" then immediately must have gone to DFW (the convention was in Grapevive which is right close to DFW). I would REALLY like to know what the nature of her back and forth conversations were with her physician in Alaska were all about if according to her own physician she didn't seek medical advise about flying because NO DOCTOR would tell a 44 year old pregnant woman pregnant with a Down Syndrome child calling him telling him she was leaking amniotic fluid to do anything BUT go directly to the ER. Everyone has to remember here, this is supposedly a pro-life nominee. Doesn't pro-Life include asking your physician if it's safe to fly in such a situation which it clearly was NOT? Her "pro-life" position is PURE hypocrasy.
