"For all poker has done for Ivey, it's about time Ivey does something for poker in return."................ Phil Ivey serves poker by being Phil Ivey. He doesn't need to be direct or front-on about it. The side affect of what he does is that he attracts loads of people to poker and inspires them to try to be like him. He's never going to be a Daniel Negreanu who can talk it up and educate. As a talker, Ivey's really not that interesting. As a player, consistently whipping ass at the high stakes tables, he's fascinating and a great hero for the newbies that keep pouring into pokerland wanting to be like him!
