Brad from SportsbookAdvisor.com is CLUELESS

Your analysis of the state of affairs at Bodog now or in the future is far from accurate. They are shedding all their NON GAMING BUSINESS which are NOT making them money. It is doubtful they were ever really suppose to be profit generators, instead they were created to fuel the company's bread and butter product, THEIR GAMING CHANNEL. Bodog has always been know to post their lines late and have low limits, this is NOTHING NEW. Perhaps this has been their biggest knock from the forum world. Basically, they have always been a square book and always will be a square book. I have spoken to plenty of other sportsbook operators that told me if they were able to cater to a square player base and put their lines up late to see where the money was going they would do it. Unfortunately, most books out there do not have the same player base that Bodog enjoys. Pretty much every large operator is having issues paying out players in a timely fashion. This is a industry problem that is not isolated to just Bodog. If anyone wants to bitch about slow payouts, start complaining to your representatives in CONGRESS instead of bitching on forums and blogs about being slow paid! With the current processing issues in place, its very prudent of Bodog to reduce expenses to make the existing business more profitable. They probably only let go about 10% of their workforce, hardly a dent in the grand scheme of things.
