He is very overrated whether thats his fault or not is a different story, FTP pastes his face everywhere, espn coverage is basically blowing him.Phil Ivey is a good pro but hes very overrated.He might have 7 wsop bracelets but big deal all the big pros have 3-4 or more.The winnings mean nothing as cash purses go up every year for every event around the world.Even during a global recession WPT purses went up.Thats like comparing tiger woods winnings to Jack nicklaus winnings.different times different purses.Fields are different alot of his bracelets were in small field tourney, just like Howard lederer and Huck and barry just to name a few.Phil Ivey had some $ backers that allowed him to enter a shitload of events early on.Hes not worth as much as youthink as he loses a shitload on side bets.Hes a degenarate gambler.Hes gone broke more than twice.Bottom line he is a very good player who is erratic sometimes rellying on rep to bully people around on tables.Best ever? best right now? no not by a longshot just my 2 cents and to the poster above who collects his data from his wikipedia profile, get an original thought.FYI is pretty short stacked in the final 9 and will probably be done in the first 12 hours
