I understand your point....but you are missing one key piece in your article......you don't mention the fact that ivey does not care about his PR....he is just not interested in having the notriety of annie duke, phil h, daniel n, etc.....He likes to have a private life and does not want people all over the world to recognize him and thus bother him for autographs etc. He likes to have the freedom to go to the grocery store on vacation and NOT get hounded by fans/people....i think that is a fair choice... His poker playing ability speak for itself. He is content to have a happy family life, play poker and have a net worth that we mere mortals could only dream of......for him (and probably many people) that is enough.....jeepers - what else is there for a poker player?........I think you should respect his choice.....He has not asked you for all your positve coverage or "props".....therefore he does not owe anyone any PR favours ...... he is not a role model, he is a poker player....and it seems that is all he ever wants to be......For many fans....that is enough...
