The reason that Adam Lambert should 'explain' is to put an end to these photos showing up on the Internet at any site - regardless of his 'sexuality' - which is probably attractive manly as KISS pointed out - or glamm rock preferences - that's not what American Idol is about. This is not a different form of music art - even for a record cover. These are photos that would/could be possibly used in a medical office setting sex education context - to tell kids, adolescents and twenty-somethings what NOT TO DO - unless they want to pay a disease price or place second on American Idol - instead of deservedly first. Cyber-stalking Adam Lambert with bad photos, even so- termed 'art forms,' with scarves, coats, and piles of theatrical make-up applied BADLY (not like Adam or American Idol does anything in real life) - is not ok or 'normal.' Adam Lambert, and Kris Allen, are now under contract to American Idol - and if AI wanted these photos, or some of Adam Lambert's less manly youtube moments out there - they would have put them out there on the American Idol site. You don't have Kris Allen's bachelor party photos on the web, or his college photos, although they were probably tame and wholesome Christian - and he has better quality friends most likely. It's not fair to Adam's friendship to Kris Allen, their respective families, or Adam Lambert's fellow Idols. These art photos, and the dredging up of indiscretions that they represent, need to stop - so that everyone can concentrate on the future for these talented individuals, and not this guy showing up at some show in drag to sit in the audience with his tongue out. Kids all want to be the next American Idol, and will try this for experience or 'exposure' as fearlessly as Adam Lambert did - not thinking about the consequences - career or disease. And in today's HIV-AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Herpes world of saliva secretion disease transmission - this is not a good thing to emulate. That kids would see these photos on the web is not ok, kids deserve innocence and to think the best of their Idols. American Idol should end the photos, and the poker chances for Adam Lambert will improve.
