Britney Spears has new baby boy

All betting is off as Britney Spears gives birth to an 11 ounce baby boy just before 2am in the early hours of Tuesday morning.  Online gambling websites like BetUS.com were offering up odds on the sex of Britney Spears new baby prior to his birth.

Learn more about

Her husband Kevin Federline took Britney to an LA hospital for a Cesarean section on Monday night.

"Kevin took Britney to the hospital in the evening hours of September 11 to prepare for the Cesarean birth," an insider told a US magazine. It is understood that Britney's mother Lynn and sister Jamie Lynn were the only other family members present.

Kevin's family were reportedly not there.

Britney bets have especially been hot at various online gambling websites along with betting odds related to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Star Jones and Tom Cruise among others.

At least one online betting firm was offering odds on whether Britney Spears would have her first baby taken away after some high profile safety concerns (riding in a moving car on mom's lap, Britney nearly drops Sean Preston).

BetUS.com had been offering odds on what name Britney would give her new baby.  Moon was the longest shot with a $4,500 payoff for a $100 bet.

A name for the baby had not been disclosed at press time.

Paris Hilton driving lessons

BetUS Executives Offer Paris Remedial Driving Course and a Retreat in Costa Rica To Assist Her In Court and On The Road

After backing into a parked car in a garage this summer and her recent reckless driving and failure to pass a sobriety test, BetUS has decided to intervene and come to the aid of Paris Hilton.

But the 32-year-old mum was quick to dismiss rumours she is already expecting baby number four, especially following David's gaff in Spain where he mistakenly told a journalist she was pregnant, the Evening Standard reports.

"The Real Madrid ace is getting increasingly broody, as he revealed seeing pictures of Tom Cruise's daughter Suri made him feel all gooey. He said: "Suri is gorgeous. I have spoken to Tom loads since the birth but it was the first time I had seen Suri."

"It made me really want a baby girl, so fingers crossed we will have one."

Of course the Beckham's are perhaps the world's most popular couple.

Sportsbook.com, which released odds Thursday on another Hilton getting a DWI within the next 12 months, is said to be contemplating betting odds on Victoria Beckham announcing her pregnancy by year's end and whether the child will be a girl or a boy.  But let's not allow the horse to get ahead of the carriage now.

Paris Hilton arrested on DWI: Will sister Nikki Hilton be next?

Paris Hilton was arrested yesterday for a DWI according to reports and at least one online gambling website is looking to capitalize.

Sportsbook.com released odds Thursday on whether Paris' sister, Nikki Hilton, will be arrested for DWI as well by September 1, 2007 (you got plenty of time).

If Nikki Hilton does get arrested for a DWI, you might be looking at some nice chump change.  Sportsbook.com believes she will not be and is backing this up with odds of +600 that she will (a $100 bet would pay out $600).

Sportsbook.com has made "NO ARREST" the favorite.  You would have to bet $1000 to win $100 and who in their right mind is going to do that?

Learn more about Sportsbook.com here --->

Hilton was stopped in Hollywood shortly before 12.30am (5.30pm NZT) and was "exhibiting the symptoms of intoxication" AP reported a police officer as saying.

"A field sobriety test was conducted at scene, and the officers determined she was driving under the influence," said police Officer I. Isabella, reading a police statement.

Hilton was booked on suspicion of misdemeanour driving under the influence and released, he said.

Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz said she had the minimum blood-alcohol level to warrant an arrest. The legal limit in California is 0.08 per cent.

"She's absolutely fine. She didn't appear in the least bit to be intoxicated." Mintz told AP.

Baby Suri will finally be seen; Vanity Fair snatches exclusives

Many have compared Baby Suri sightings (or lack thereof) to those of the elusive Big Foot while others have questioned if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' Baby Suri really even existed.

Wednesday we find out with Vanity Fair being the first to publish pictures of Baby Suri nearly four months after her birth.

One online gambling website posted odds on which news blog would be the first to feature photos of Baby Suri following a much talked about incident where Brad Pitt and Angelina's bundle of joy landed on the pages of Gawker after being purchased exclusively by People Magazine.

Lindsey Lohan to perform for troops in Iraq?  The Jake Gyllenhaal kiss

Get this, Bodog.com is actually offering odds on whether Lindsay Lohan will travel to Iraq and perform for US troops in 2006? Lindsay Lohan must travel to Iraq and perform for US troops before December 31st, 2006 for all Yes Wagers to be graded a Win. Maximum wager is $50.

Okay, so the YES is +250, meaning a $1.00 bet would win $2.50 and the good folks at Bodog.com don't actually think that she will do it.  The NO would require a $4 bet to win $1.  Whoopie!  In other words, the $50 maximum bet would turn a measly profit of just $12.50 if she doesn't perform.

The club-hopping Lindsay Lohan is known to love hot spots but not necessarily political hot spots. Still, the 20-year-old star told Elle magazine that she had reached out to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton because she wanted to visit U.S. troops in Iraq. "Hillary was trying to work it out, but it seemed too dangerous," she said in the September issue. "I wanted to do what Marilyn Monroe did [during the Korean War]." In recent months, of course, Lohan has found controversy wherever she's gone.

In addition to the Lindsay Lohan prop bet, Bodog.com is also still offering the very popular Jake Gyllenhaal "kiss" odds.

Basically, it is a bet that asks who Jake Gyllenhaal will be photographed publicly kissing first with only three "logical" choices:

Lance Armstrong pays out $3 for every $1 bet.  A $25 bet would pay out $75.  Mathew McConaughey pays $2 for every $1 bet.  A $25 bet would pay out $50.  The favorite, however, is Natalie Portman with 1 to 3 odds.  Portman is not worth putting that type of money down on for a very small win.

Needless-to-say though, Gyllenhaal hasn't been photographed kissing Portman just yet and this prop has been up for close to two months now.

We say....settle for the middle with Mathew McConaughey at 2 to 1 odds.

J-Lo pregnant: Another baby to bet on

Not so fast!  J-Lo's own publicist has shot down rumors that the singer/actress diva is pregnant.

Jesse McCartney, 19, was asked live on air if his girlfriend Katie Cassidy, who will play Lucy Ewing in the film, had any inside gossip regarding why J Lo pulled out of portraying Sue Ellen.

"She didn't get fired. She's pregnant," the singer blurted out, before red-facedly (presumably since it was radio), turning to his publicist and saying: "Was I not supposed to say anything?"

But J Lo's own spokesperson has said that the 37-year-old is "100 per cent not pregnant". Jennie and singer husband Marc, together for more than two years, have previously spoken of their desire to have children.

Fans of J Lo eager to see the singer with her own bundle of joy will be disappointed that McCartney himself has retracted his claims, issuing a statement that said: "I have no firsthand knowledge whether Jennifer Lopez is pregnant or not. I thought I had read it somewhere, I apologise."

So maybe oddsmakers can offer odds on whether J-Lo does announce a pregnancy by the end of, say October.

Baby betting odds have become big business for online bookies, offering lines on anything from sex of a celebrity baby to what the couple will name their bundle of joy.

"Some of these names pay out big," commented Gambling911.com Entertainment Reporter, Payton O'Brien.  "SportsInteraction.com had odds listed on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes baby's name before the birth with payout potentials in the thousands contingent on the amount wagered."

One oddsmaker, BetCRIS.com, offered odds on which media outlet would be the first to gain exclusive rights to photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new born.

Odds can even be found related to where The Pitt-Jolie couple will have their next baby (which country).

"Among the big baby betting market, celebrities like Britney Spears pop up quite frequently," O'Brien said.  "There was even a bet on whether she would have her first child taken away following that incident with the car safety concerns.  Odds were shortened when she nearly dropped the kid."

Kate Moss loss as fiance enters rehab

With newly engaged Kate Moss in Bali, fiance Pete Doherty sits in a London rehab.  London's Daily Mail suggest that Kate Moss ought to be sitting right along side him.

"Pictured leaving a Bali nightclub after an evening drinking cocktails, her shiny visage, dotted with spots, proved that hard living takes its toll even on supermodels.

"Dressed elegantly, but perspiring heavily, a bleary-eyed Miss Moss was escorted back to her luxury hotel villa by two bodyguards in the early hours of the morning."

The Daily Mail also revealed that Miss Moss is keen to marry on a tropical beach, possibly in Thailand, which would reflect her spiritual beliefs.

"Friends say it is unlikely to be a conventional marriage and would be inspired by a Buddhist ceremony.

"The 32-year-old model will wear a long off-white gown, which will show off her figure and give her an ethereal look.

"She will be barefoot and wear flowers in her hair.

"But reports that she had arranged a 'spiritual' marriage ceremony in Bali yesterday - stymied by Doherty's arrest - are wide of the mark.

"Doherty appeared in court and was released on conditional bail after pleading guilty to five Class A drug charges brought against him."

Kate Moss has for the last year been the subject of online gambling sites which have offered odds on her next cocaine bust and various rehab check-ins.

Watch for Bodog.com to release odds in the next few days on Ms. Moss and whether she and Doherty remain engaged.

By the way, Bodog.com is currently featuring odds on Mel Gibson violating his probation, Andy Dick entering rehab over the next two months and Janet Jackson announcing her pregnancy.

Who's next to step in line for the MTV Curse?  BetCRIS Sportsbook Posts Odds on Which Celebrity Couple Will Star in a MTV Reality Show?

It’s official, what has been deemed the “MTV Curse” by the celebrity gossip blogs is alive and well. Meet the Barkers stars Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler are divorcing – right behind the tails of Nick/Jessica and Carmen/Dave. Celebrity couples are not known for their shelf life, but once they air their lives on national television the shelf life goes from short to expired.

Analysts at BetCRIS.com (www.betcris.com) offered odds earlier today on which celebrity couple will walk the line next when it comes to signing away their lives on MTV.

Place your bets here ----->

WHICH WILL BE THE NEXT CELEBRITY COUPLE TO

HAVE A REALITY SHOW ON MTV?

“Why anyone would allow cameras to follow their every footstep is beyond me - that’s a recipe for disaster,” said BetCRIS.com CEO Mickey Richardson. “But in Hollywood a lasting marriage doesn’t bring publicity or a television show.”

Paris Hilton to bury goat beside Marilyn Monroe

Grandpa Conrad Hilton may be rolling over in his grave just about now.  Marilyn Monroe?  Who really knows?  She might like the idea of being burried beside Paris Hilton's pet goat.

Some are calling it a really baaaaaaaaaad move but Paris Hilton plans to bury her pet goat at the West Wood Village Memorial Park next to the memorial of screen legend Marilyn Monroe.

A plot had been secured in the cemetery under the name of Billy Hilton and it was assumed it was for a Hilton family member.

What will Mel Gibson do next? Gambling site posts odds

Mel Gibson may have publicly apologized for his outrageous behavior and the anti-Semitic remarks he unleashed when arrested last week on a drunk-driving charge in Malibu, but one has to wonder what the next move will be for the unstable star.   - a leading online gaming site has posted odds on what will happen to Mel Gibson next, and according to BetUS analysts it looks like he will be getting arrested again for DUI in the near future.

“Mel Gibson is a respected actor and director, but there is no excuse for his recent behavior” stated BetUS.com analyst Matt Ross. “I would like to hope that Gibson learned his lesson from all the repercussions he is not receiving but we here at BetUS think those chances are slim to none”.

Executives at BetUS.com posted the following odds:

What will happen to Mel Gibson Next?

Get arrested again for DUI:  4-1

Start attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings:  5 -1

Star Jones getting a divorce?  What are the odds?

For those of you who have been following the publicity surrounding former "The View" co-host, Star Jones, get out your score card.

Star Jones Reynolds denies her marriage is in trouble and now she's threatening to sue whomever is spreading the vicious rumors.  Could it be Barbara Walters?

Bodog.com (See Web Site Here) is about to post odds on Star Jones marriage and who she takes legal action against first (see odds on where Star Jones will end up next here)

The Post reported on Wednesday's Page Six that "Star Jones has been telling friends on the East End that her marriage is about to fade out."

Star Jones Reynolds appeared on "Larry King Live" in her first on air interview since announcing her departure from ABC's "The View" saying that she was told she could "make up a story" about why she was leaving "The View" and her colleagues would have gone along with it.  Co-host and creator, Barbara Walters, later confirmed these reports.

The news that Jones wouldn't have her contract renewed for a 10th year on the daytime talk show exploded last month into a bitter war of words between Jones and Walters.

Jones announced her departure live on the air, taking Walters and ABC by surprise with the timing. She was immediately canned though ratings for the show skyrocketed as a result of the controversy.

Star Jones seat is a big chair to fill

BetCRIS Sportsbook Posts Odds on Who Will Replace Star Jones on ABC’s “The View”

On June 27th, Star Jones announced her exit from "The View".  Star’s statement blindsided Barbara Walters and ABC producers leaving them quite disgruntled; as a result, they asked her not to return. Since then people have been wondering who will fit the bill, the chair, and the once XXL pants.

ABC still has yet to announce who will join the desk with soon-to-be host Rosie O' Donnell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar. In turn, analysts at BetCRIS.com (See Web Site Here) made predictions on who will replace Star Jones on “The View”.

Who will replace Star Jones on ABC’s “The View”?

  • Brandy                                     6 to 1

  • B. Smith                                   6 to 1

  • Mo'Nique                                 6 to 1

  • Debbie Matenopoulos              6 to 1

  • Shannen Doherty                      6 to 1

  • Tanika Ray                               6 to 1

  • Gayle King                               6 to 1

  • Kelly Rowland                          6 to 1

  • Oprah Winfrey                         6 to 1

Lance Armstrong new buddy Jake Gyllenhaal has everyone talking

When Bodog.com (See Web Site Here) last week revealed odds on Who heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal would kiss first, the female in me (or the man, not sure which one) got all ga ga and I had to rush to their website and place my bets only to find out I had a limited selection.

Lance Armstrong at 3 to 1; Mathew McConaughey at 2 to 1 and Natalie Portman the favorite at 1 to 3.

Whoopie!  But sure the value is great with Lance.

Carmen Electra breaks up with Dave Navarro: All bets off

Plus: Is Justin Timberlake a junkie?

WagerWeb.com (See Web Site Here) offered odds on which big name celebrity couple would be the first to break up.  And the winner (or loser depending on how you want to look at it) is...... Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro.

Rumors of a breakup between Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have been in the news now for months, prompting the online gambling website to post even odds on the first announced split.

And even Carmen herself had said earlier this year that their hectic schedules made it almost impossible for them to even think about starting a family when she was quizzed if the she and Dave were really having problems.

"We would like to have kids but we are apart so often that it's not easy," she admitted.

Promoters in Snoop Dogg Poker tournament indicted as part of probe

The promoters of a "cruise ship" poker tournament that never quite made sail have been named in an indictment that threatens to put behemoth online gambling enterprise, BetonSports.com, out of commission.

Hold 'Em Productions had been slated to hold a poker tournament featuring the likes of Snoop Dogg and his Uncle Reno this coming November after two previous dates were cancelled.

The "Rapper's Challenge Texas Hold 'Em Tournament" was originally to take place the day Hurricane Wilma hit South Florida.  It was once again postponed after organizers announced the casino ship commissioned for the evening had lost its certification.

Place your bets on which blog is first to feature photos of Cruise Baby Suri

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have done an admirable job of keeping their newborn, Suri, away from photographers, but how long will it last?

Where is Baby Suri?  Bodog.com (See Web Site Here) has gone as far as to suggest Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes little one might not even exist.  They are offering odds of +300 or $3 paid for every $1 bet that an announcement will be made prior to September 31, 2006 that Suri is a figment of the media's imagination.

Good value when one considers how hard it is these days to keep photographers away even in the privacy of a celebrity's own home.  Case in point, photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby were already sprayed across the net before little Shiloh was released from a remote Nambia hospital.

There was even a much publicized family outing to playground for the stars, Telluride in the Colorado Mountains.  And still no signs of Suri.

Star Jones controversy gives "The View" big ratings boost

Maybe Star Jones should stay on board "The View" after all or just have Barbara Walters duke it out with another co-host every few weeks.  It's been over 2 1/2 years since the show has appeared in daytime television's top 5 until a much publicized dismissal of long time co-host Star Jones Reynolds occurred a few weeks back.

Broadcast & Cable reports that 'The View' tied for fourth place in daytime for the week of July 3 with a 1.5 rating/10 share.   That's an average audience of 980,000 women 18-49, up 8% from the week before and up a tenth of a rating point from its season average of a 1.4/10 (880,000) in the demo.

Star Jones, appearing on "Larry King Live" in her first on air interview since announcing her departure from ABC's "The View" said she was told she could "make up a story" about why she was leaving "The View" and her colleagues would have gone along with it.

Who will Jake Gyllenhaal Kiss next?

Bodog.com (See Web Site Here) has announced odds on who heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal will kiss next.  Bodog.com Founder and CEO (and Forbes coverboy Billionaire) Calvin Ayre is not on the list.

A spokesperson for Bodog.com writes:

"If you’re a fan of blogs then you’ve most likely read something, somewhere, about Jake Gyllenhaal having a “special” relationship with Lance Armstrong, Mathew McConaughey and Natalie Portman. Question is, who is Jake’s true love? My money’s on Lance or Mathew, the photos of Jake and Natalie are nothing more than an obvious attempt at a diversion from Jakes true feelings."

There are only three options unfortunately:

Lance Armstrong at 3 to 1; Mathew McConaughey at 2 to 1 and Natalie Portman the favorite at 1 to 3.

Our money is on Mathew McConaughey which pays out $2 for every $1 bet.

Eminem gets into fight in strip club men's room

It seems Eminem got p*ssed off in the men's room of a Detroit strip club.  An individual identified only as Miad J. claims he was assaulted by the white rapper.

According to the Detroit Free Press, police said an assault occurred around 1:15 a.m. Thursday at Cheetah on 19245 W. Eight Mile Road.

The alleged victim, 48-year-old Miad J. says he was punched in the face four or five times by Mathers, while using the men's room at the strip club.

Naomi Campbell attacks again

Exotic super model, Naomi Campbell, is now facing a third lawsuit lodged by a former employee who claims she was attacked by her employer.  Talk about bad bosses!  How would you like to work for this biooootch?

In a one-page summons filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Campbell's former assistant Amanda Black said she was subjected to a series of "verbal, physical and emotional attacks" by the model shortly after she was hired by her in February of 2005.

The 20-year old ex-assistant says that Campbell allegedly slammed a Blackberry into her face and slapped her three times during a trip to Rio, and then, apparently lacking her own mobile device-weapon, threw a friend's cell phone at Brack after a fight in her Park Ave. apartment, according to Brack's lawyer.

Pee Wee Herman is back, David Hasselhoff Wimbledon incident

Loveable Pee Wee Herman is set for his big comeback following years of shame after being caught with his other pee wee out in a Triple X movie theatre.  Today, one is left feeling sorry for poor Pee Wee Herman.  Just think, if only internet porn had been available way back when, Pee Wee could have done away with the rain coat and we'd probably still be watching Pee Wee's Playhouse.

The Cartoon Network is now airing "Pee-wee's Playhouse" in the 10 p.m. slot Mondays through Thursdays, as part of its "Adult Swim" lineup.

Reflecting on the show's dual audiences of kids and grownups, Reubens told Tim Cuprisen of the Milwaukee Journal it's been that way since the start.

Geraldo Rivera on mob "hit list"

We love Geraldo Rivera and the last thing we want to see is for him to get into harm's way.  Then again, the controversial news journalist seems to thrive off of danger and always has.

Tommy "Horsehead" Scafidi, a former mob hit man, claims he was ordered by Philadelphia boss John Stanfa to kill Geraldo Rivera for giving the mob bad publicity.

Rivera had "embarrassed" Stanfa after filming and taunting the mobster.  But Rivera held back antagonizing the mob boss further on a segment of Fox News "Hannity and Combs".

Scafidi, who later became a government informant, claims he risked his own life to save the investigative reporter.
