Bet the NBA conference semifinals at betED.com

The Conference semifinals round of the 2008 NBA Playoffs are underway and betED.com is offering basketball betting fans loads of Prop bets and Series odds as well as daily game lines.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics open their Eastern Conference semifinal Tuesday with Boston a big favorite (-800) to win the best-of-seven series at betED.com. Cleveland is a +500 underdog.

In Game 1, the Celtics are a 9½-point and -650 moneyline favorite to beat the Cavs. The over/under total is 182.

Among the many Prop bets available for the series is whether the series will go over 4½ games (-520) or under (+320).

In the conference quarterfinals, the Cavaliers beat the Washington Wizards and the Celtics got past the Atlanta Hawks, wrapping up the series by hammering the Hawks 99-65 as a 15-point favorite in Game 7 on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Lakers are also -800 to win their Western Conference semifinal against the Utah Jazz. Utah is a +500 underdog. The teams play Game 2 of the best-of-seven series Wednesday in LA, with the Lakers a 6½-point favorite.

Los Angeles beat Utah 109-98 in Game 1 on Monday night, paced by Kobe Bryant’s 38 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Bryant is expected to be presented with his first NBA MVP award by commissioner David Stern before Game 2.

The Lakers have not lost so far in the 2008 NBA Playoffs after sweeping the Denver Nuggets in the opening round.

One of several Prop bets available for the series is whether Los Angeles will sweep (+450), win four games to one (+220), or four games to two (+300). Or, any other result pays +115.
