North Carolina Tar Heels Odds to Win 2012 NCAA Championship Slashed Further

Gambling911.com was anticipating the North Carolina Tar Heels odds to win the 2012 NCAA Championship to be slashed perhaps in half from the 6 to 1 offered coming into this weekend at Sportsbook.com.  Carrie Stroup advised us of the updated odds forthcoming.

North Carolina absolutely romped over Duke Saturday to claim the ACC Title.

"My team's had some bounce-back to them all year long," North Carolina coach Roy Williams said. "We go down to Florida State and lose by 3 million and everybody's jumping off the bandwagon ... but our team kept playing. We lose to Duke and everybody's got a great opinion of how stupid we are ... (and) my team kept playing."

The number 6-ranked Tar Heels 8-point win at Cameron Indoor Stadium is the biggest for the Tar Heels since a 20-point win in 1989.  North Carolina shot 54.5 percent.

March traditionally sees some of the heaviest betting volume of the year thanks to Men’s College Basketball and the much-anticipated March Madness.
