Latest Fantasy NBA Reports

Marc Gasol (New York Knicks):

Analysis: Gasol said earlier Wednesday that he would take his injury on a game-by-game basis and apparently decided he was OK to play in his next game. Gasol suffered the injury March 6 and played a bunch of games with the injury before the pain became too great. “I was playing anywhere from 60-65 percent before New Orleans,” Gasol said recently. “I felt like it wasn’t getting better. I felt pain and I was ineffective rebounding the ball. I lost all of my explosiveness. I’m not very explosive anyway but the little bit I try to be was gone. It just hurt real bad. When we did the test it was obvious.” Hopefully he doesn't get re-injured, but when active he is viable in most Fantasy formats.

Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat):

News: Heat guard Dwyane Wade always had his eye on returning Wednesday against the Bulls, and that appears to be what will happen. Wade, who has missed the team's last two games against lottery-bound teams due to a sore right knee, is back in the starting lineup as the team goes for its 28th win in a row in Chicago. “I think I’m ready to give it a go,” Wade told the Sun Sentinel. “I had two situations I’ve been dealing with. One of them is gone and the other I’ll have to deal with. I just want to get back out there and see how it feels.” Wade has been resting for five days to overcome the minor injury.

Analysis: We knew coming into the season that Wade might take some time off late in the season, and this was never considered a serious issue. He is averaging 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game on the season, and should be able to play without limitations moving forward. At this point, he remains a must-start Fantasy option when active.
