NBA Daily Fantasy Salaries, Picks and Betting Lines – February 21

Gambling911.com has your NBA daily fantasy salaries, a few picks and also the betting lines for Saturday’s five games.

Oklahoma Thunder vs. Charlotte Hornets – The Thunder are a -3.5 favorite here in a game which should be considered last when it comes to your daily fantasy sports roster as neither team’s players have had much success against the other in terms of fantasy value based on their current spread.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Andre Robertson (SG) $3K, Kevin Durant (PG) $10.4, Russell Westbrook (PG) $10.6K, Serge Ibalka (PF) $7K, Nick Collison (C) $3.2K (Feb 21)

Charlotte Hornets – Gerald Henderson (SG) $5.5K, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (SF) $5.6K, C. Zeller (C) $4.8K, Al Jefferson $8K, Mo Williams (PG) $5K (Feb 21)

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Miami Heat – Miami is a 2-point favorite in this contest.

Hassan Whiteside is likely to get more minutes with Chris Bosh out indefinitely.

Miami Heat –H. Whiteside ($7.7K), Goran Dragic (PG) $6.1K, D. Wade ($7.2K), U.Haslem ($3K), L. Deng ($5.1K) (Feb 20)

While not the most fantasy-friendly matchup, Mario Chalmers did make value against the Pelicans the last time he faced them using today’s price of $4.5K.  He’s expected to come off the bench for this one, reducing his value somewhat.

Goran Dragic (PG) $6.1K makes his debut for the Heat, needing around 30 fantasy points to make value.  With the Pelicans recent troubles against opposing point guards, Dragic should be one of the best plays of the day assuming he gets the minutes.

Phoenix Suns vs. Chicago Bulls – Phoenix is a pretty big 8-point underdog in this one.

Chicago Bulls – J. Noah $6.9K, J. Butler $7.5K, D. Rose $7.9K, M. Dunleavy $3.6K, $3K, P. Gasol $9.7K,  (Feb 20)

Phoenix Suns – PJ Tucker (SF) $3K Eric Bledsoe (PG) $8K Markieff Morris (PF) $6.3K Alex Len (C) $3K, Brandon Knight (SG) ($7.5k) (Feb 20)

Pau Gasol – One of the most reliable players in the league bar none.  During a six-game stretch before the All Star Break, Gasol was averaging 17 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks per game, which, when you do the math, is well above his value.  The last time he went up against Phoenix he tallied up around 40.

PJ Tucker – He has reached 22 or higher fantasy points in five straight games and only needs around 18 to make value.   He did come close the last time facing Chicago so worth having him on your roster with such a small slate Saturday.

Toronto Raptors vs. Houston Rockets – Houston is a -2.5 favorite in this one.

Toronto Raptors – D. DeRozan $7K, J. Johnson $4.2K, K. Lowry $7.2K, A. Johnson $4.2K, J. Valanci $5K (Feb 20)

Houston Rockets – J. Harden $10.5K, T. Ariza $5.7K, P. Beverly $4.2K, D. Motieiu $5.5K, J. Dorsey $3K (Feb 20)

James Harden may be the closest thing to a “lock” in the world of daily fantasy NBA.  He scored around 40 fantasy points the last time facing Toronto and that is right about where he needs to be.  And he has scored at least 40 fantasy points in seven of ten games.  A few of those he scored better than 50.

Sacramento Kings vs. LA Clippers – The Clippers are a -10 point home favorite.  The Kings have played well against Los Angeles in recent games so we don’t necessarily anticipate a blowout here.  Even so, all the more reason why Cousins shall get his minutes.

Sacramento Kings – B. McLemore $3.9K, R.Gay $7.3K, D. Cousins $10.5K, R. McCallum $3K, O.Casspi $3K (Feb 20)

LA Clippers – D. Jordan $7.5K, M. Barnes $3.9K, C. Paul $9.2K, S. Hawes $3K, J.J. Redick $3.3K (Feb 21)

J.J. Redick – He will face a Sacramento Kings team that is dead last against shooting guards.  With his price so deflated, Redick pretty much made value against the Kings the last time he faced them.

DeMarcus Cousins - Cousins provided 28 points (9-20 FG, 10-12 FT), 19 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in 37 minutes in the loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday.  Cousins went off for 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting and 15 rebounds in Friday night's 109-101 win over the Celtics.  He should match up well against the Clippers Saturday night.
