Heat vs. 76ers Line for NBA Playoffs – Game 3

Can the dogs keep barking as they enter Thursday’s game slate with a 10-5 First Round NBA Playoffs record?  With the Heat vs. 76ers line we have the home team, Philadelphia, as a +4.5 underdog at SBG Global in their Game 3 matchup.

Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers
Thursday, 8:05 pm Eastern – TNT

The Miami Heat will try and take a 3-0 series lead as they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. The Heat won the first two basketball betting games at home in Miami and they are favored to win in Philadelphia as well.  The 76ers have had no answers for Miami’s big three and unless that changes on Thursday night this will be a short series.

Philadelphia competed well in Game 1 of this series but in Game 2 they were blown off the floor.  LeBron James scored 29 points while Chris Bosh had another double-double for the Heat.  The Heat won 94-73 on Monday in a game that was never in doubt.  Dwyane Wade added 14 points for Miami and seemed to be showing no effects from the migraine he was dealing with on Sunday.

Philadelphia got 18 point from Thaddeus Young while Evan Turner scored 15.  The Philadelphia starters were a disgrace as they were outscored 76-29 by Miami’s starting five. The 76ers shot just 34% for the game.  The chances of Philadelphia winning this series do not look good. The Heat has never lost a betting series after winning the first two games and Philadelphia is 0-16 in their history after losing the first two games of a series.  The 76ers definitely need Andre Iguodala to show up in this series. He has been horrible so far, going 4 for 15 from the field in the two games.

Philadelphia has now lost all five meetings against Miami this season. Here are the NBA betting stats for Thursday’s game. The Heat are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Heat are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 2 days of rest. The 76ers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a home underdog. The 76ers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 2 days of rest. In this series, the home team is 18-8 ATS in the last 26 meetings and the Heat are 3-11 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Philadelphia.

The Under is 5-0 in Miami’s last 5 overall. The Under is 5-2 in Miami’s last 7 road games. The Under is 4-0 in the 76ers last 4 games as a home underdog. The Under is 10-1 in the 76ers last 11 overall. The Under is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings in Philadelphia.
