The Duke Blue Devils were the official favorite to win the 2011 NCAA Championship with odds of 4/1 even after the North Carolina Tar Heels snatched the ACC title away from them Saturday.  (all odds courtesy of SBG Global)

While Nolan Smith and Seth Curry combined for 50 points, someone forgot to tell the rest of Duke's players to show up....The other 6 Blue Devils who took the court combined for just 17 points while going 0-12 from three-point range.

We're a confident team," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "Just because you miss shots, it's not about confidence. Sometimes you miss shots. If you're not confident, you don't take the shots. Confidence is not our problem. We're OK.”

"The way they beat us, it made us mad," Duke senior guard Nolan Smith said. "Me personally, I'm mad. I don't want to lose any more games going forward. A lot of guys on this team feel the same way."

North Carolina, meanwhile, would pay out $1000 for every $100 bet should they go on to win the 2011 NCAA Championship.

With the shocking loss, Duke is the No. 2 seed for the ACC Tournament.  They will play the winner of the Maryland-N.C. State game on Friday night.
