Western Conference All-Stars

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was the leading vote-getter as he edged out Lebron James. Curry received just over 1.5 million votes while James had over 1.4 million votes. Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans was third in the voting. He will be the youngest starter in this year’s game that features five first-time starters. The Western Conference team is already suffered two losses as Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers are out due to injury. They have been replaced on the roster by DeMarcus Cousins and Damian Lillard. There is also no guarantee that Davis plays as he has a shoulder injury.

Eastern Conference All-Stars

The Eastern Conference All-Stars are led by Lebron James is the youngest player in NBA history to reach 24,000 points. He is joined on the team by guard John Wall of the Washington Wizards who is the first Wizards starter in the game since 2007 and Kyle Lowy who is the first Toronto Raptors starter since 2008. The other two starters are Pau Gasol of the Chicago Bulls and Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks. The one injured player on the East squad is Miami’s Dwyane Wade who was replaced by Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks.
