The Houston Astros have been on fire, winners of nine of their last ten games.

A big part of Houston's success is Jose Altuve, currently the reigning American League MVP, he leads the majors with a .343 batting average.

Altuve went 3-for-4 with two home runs off Nathan Eovaldi in the Astros' 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday.

Dallas Keuchel takes the mound Friday after a much needed bounce back game against the Royals in Kansas City where he was able to get his first win since mid May. The Royals Danny Duffy gave up 7 runs, 6 earned, just last week against Houston.

Saturday features an erratic Ian Kennedy of the Royals facing off against Lance McCullers Jr., who was able to sustain a steady string of 4 quality starts since giving up 7 in Cleveland but has yet to win in his last three.

Houston area bookies will require a solid Pay Per head this season to cut their losses.

It gets no better for the Astros this weekend as they face off against a Royals team that has one of the worst records in the league.

Houston has won four straight against KC and six of the last eight.
