Let’s go Yankees, as a +132 underdog no less.  New York has gotten pretty hot, winning 8 of their last 10 games.

New York has won the last 3 games in this series, 4 of the last 5 and 7 of the last 10.

Ivan Nova is 3-1 when starting against Toronto with an ERA of 3.82 and a WHIP of 1.245.

His team's record is 4-2 in these starts. The OVER is 1-5.

A few other stats to throw out there:

The Yankees are 8-1 in their last 9 games with the total set at 7.0-8.5.  They are 6-1 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter.  The Yankees are also 5-0 in their last 5 road games.

New York is 15-5 in Nova's last 20 starts vs. a team with a losing record.

We should note that Toronto has played well following a loss.  They are 10-4 in their last 14 games following a loss.  This is a team that is only 4-6 over the last 10 games, however.

The Blue Jays are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. American League East and only 4-11 in their last 15 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

Something to consider is that Toronto is 1-0 in Josh Johnson’s starts vs. the Yankees.

Oakland is our next play as they attempt to avoid the sweep in Tampa.  This is a team that is 12-6 thus far.

Some vital stats to consider:

The Athletics are 8-0 in their last 8 games as a road favorite of -110 to -150.

The A's are 4-0 in their last 4 games after losing the first 2 games of a series.

The Athletics are 9-0 in their last 9 games as a road favorite.

Oakland is 8-0 in Tom Milone's last 8 starts as a favorite.

The Athletics are 8-1 in Milones last 9 starts.

Roberto Hernandez is 4-7 when starting against OAKLAND with an ERA of 5.29 and a WHIP of 1.598.

His team's record is 4-8 in these starts. The UNDER is 8-3.

The Rays are 0-5 in their last 5 when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.

That said, Tampa Bay is 8-2 in their last 10 games at home as an underdog.

Oakland is a -124 visiting favorite here at BetOnline.
