ACES GOLD DECIDES TO FOLD

Aces Gold/Sports Market has filed for bankruptcy protection on February 15, 2002 .  The sportsbook was in business since 1996 and one of the first to set up shop.  The likelihood of credit players, who comprised a significant portion of this shop, getting paid is probably close to zero while post up players have some hope of a “white knight” coming to the rescue and picking up the customer list.

Gambling911.com has been in contact with some books to find out any solutions, however, due to the sudden announcement today, this is all quite a shock and it will likely take a number of days before anyone can figure out exactly what is going on.  Royal Sports has announced on the Prescription site that they are currently surveying the situation.

Gambling911.com is in correspondence with OSGA.com and other sites that are being inundated with calls concerning this matter and we will keep each other informed of any possible solutions that might be in the works and work together to try and assist players.

A representative from Aces Gold, and someone we do not respect, announced the bankruptcy proceedings today after posting on a number of forums some weeks ago that Aces Gold had not been experiencing any financial hardship.

Due to the fact that Gambling911.com severed all communications with Aces Gold over a year ago, the information coming to us in recent weeks was difficult to confirm, however, we did take the appropriate steps in asking that our readers remove monies from this organization.
