Eight of the last ten games between these two teams have resulted in eight or fewer runs.  The problem here is that the total is falling right on 8.

The total has come down a half run from 8.5.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Jonathan Loaisiga (0-0, 2.25 ERA) vs. Astros RH Gerrit Cole (0-2, 3.00)

Loaisiga yielded only one hit over four frames in a spot start Wednesday but ran into trouble by walking the bases loaded and allowing his only run in his final inning of work, leading to a no-decision against Detroit. The 24-year-old Nicaraguan made nine appearances in 2018, going 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA in his four starts. Considered the organization's top pitching prospect after going 15-4 with a 2.63 ERA in 43 minor-league turns, Loaisiga is set to face Houston for the first time in his career.

Cole opened the season by striking out 19 in consecutive quality starts, but he was doomed by a lack of run support again Wednesday after permitting three runs in six frames during a 4-0 loss at Texas. The two-time All-Star was charged with four runs over six innings in his first outing, but only one was earned in a 10-strikeout performance in Tampa Bay.

Half of the last ten games Houston has played overall have resulted in two or fewer runs scored.  Against Baltimore they managed to score six or more runs in each of those this past weekend.

The UNDER is 10-2 in the Astros last twelve games.

Half of the last ten games New York has played in overall have resulted in three or fewer runs scored. The Yankees were able to score a lot more runs against the A's over the weekend.

The OVER is 10-2 in the Yankees last twelve road games.

We will be on the UNDER 8 for this one.
